Have you been struggling with your mental health and looking for someone that can help? Or, is someone you love dealing with anxiety, depression, or similar concerns and you want to do something for them? Too often, when someone is dealing with mental health issues, it may feel as if there’s nothing that can be done, that everything is working against them. However, there is hope. Here at our outpatient San Fernando Treatment Center, we can help people just like you to able to better their lives in a variety of ways.
How Our Treatment Works
From the moment you reach out to us, we’ll be there with you every step of the way. So often, what we find is that even the most educated, intelligent, and accomplished person may not be aware of their inner strengths and just how potent those are. Thus, much of what we do is about creating a safe, neutral environment where we can truly help someone to heal, energize, and not only become aware of those inner strengths but be able to use them to better their life.
Some of What We’ll Help With
Everyone’s struggle is different. As such, their treatment plan is different, too. We customize a treatment plan to the patient’s individual needs. That said, individual therapy, as well as group therapy, are parts of just about everyone’s treatment plan. In those group sessions, our trained professionals work with our patients on a variety of important topics, such as coping skills. So often, someone with mental health issues doesn’t have the healthiest or most positive way to be able to cope with stress. We can work with you to change that.
A Treatment Plan for Your Needs
Beyond coping skills, we also work with patients to be more mindful., and to be able to incorporate mindfulness into their lives. To use an example, if someone struggles with anxiety, it can be very hard for them to just simply be “at the moment.” They might be fixated on something that happened in the past that can no longer be changed. Or, alternatively, they might be catastrophizing over something that has yet to occur and may not happen in the first place. Mindfulness is just one of the topics that may potentially help someone to be able to better their life.
